Please join us for an entire weekend of Dance celebrating National Ballroom Dance Week and featuring the 2012 New England DanceSport Championships. Dancers from New England and across the nation will participate at all age groups, from Preteen to Senior, at skill levels from Beginner to Championship. The public will enjoy competition in the American and International Dance styles as couples compete to qualify for the 2013 USA Dance National Championships.

The week-end includes a Gala Dinner Dance, Workshops and Fun Events for every dancer – social and competitive. Vendors will offer dance and dance related merchandise through the entire week-end.

The competition will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the soon to be Doubletree by Hilton Boston North Shore in Danvers, MA. The venue is easily accessible from all directions and offers free parking, outstanding health club with spa services and an indoor water park! Specially priced room accommodations are available for all attending the Event.

photography policy

Spectator photography and videotaping are allowed at this event within the parameters of our Guidelines.

No video or camera equipment, and no video/camera operators, without special permit by the New England DanceSport organizers may be positioned on or along the dance floors or aisles or in any location that will obstruct the audiences’ line of sight.

• All filming/photographing must be done from one’s assigned seat, or from the designated deck area in the back of the ballroom.
• Unipods, bipods, and tripods may only be used in this designated area for photography; they are not to be used at one's seat.
• In order not to obstruct one's neighbor’s view, only 6" or smaller lenses will be allowed.
• There is to be no flash of any sort used during this event.
• All photos/videos taken must be for personal use and USA Dance/New England DanceSport Championships does not license anyone to take photos for resale or other means of compensation without a special permit issued by USA Dance Inc./New England DanceSport Championships.
• Please note: professional photographers/videographers, and approved members of the Press/News Media and Film Crews must have special visibly-displayed permit from the New England DanceSport Championships Dance to shoot from the floor and other areas in and outside of the ballroom. These permits will be issued only by the New England DanceSport Championships organizers.
